As a portfolio site, we aim for minimal data collection. However, certain technical processes require data processing:

• Contact Forms: If you contact us via a form, we collect the data shown in the form (Name, Email, Message) to process your inquiry. We do not use this for marketing without your consent.
• Cookies: We use "cookies" to make our site user-friendly. Some remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
• Server Log Files: The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in "server log files," which your browser automatically transmits to us (IP address, browser type, time of server request). This is necessary for technical security.

To showcase my work, I embed videos delivered through Bunny Stream, a service operated by BunnyWay d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 165, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. When you open a page containing an embedded video, your browser establishes a connection to Bunny's servers so the video can be loaded and played. This transmits your IP address, which is technically required to deliver the content, though Bunny anonymises it. The player may also send back performance data such as buffering, errors, and stream quality to optimise playback. Bunny operates its servers within the EU and acts as a processor on my behalf under a data processing agreement (AVV). Bunny Stream does not store permanently identifiable information.

For website analytics, I use Matomo, an open-source tool that I host myself on my own server. Because Matomo is self-hosted, your usage data stays with me and is never shared with any third party. Matomo sets cookies to recognise return visits and measure how the site is used (e.g. pages viewed, time on site), and your IP address is anonymised before storage.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your data. Data is only shared with:

• Service Providers: Hosting providers and analytics services mentioned above.
• Legal Necessity: If required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. How Long We Retain Your Data

• Contact inquiries: Kept for the duration of the communication and up to 2 years thereafter, unless a contract is signed (which may require longer retention for tax purposes).
• Server Logs: Deleted automatically after [e.g., 7 to 30] days.
• Analytics: Retained for [e.g., 14 months] before being automatically deleted.
