Three people on the streets of Cape Town with one question: what makes a happy life? Just me, Sebastian behind the camera, and a producer. No crew, no lights, no script. We stopped people in a busy downtown area and asked them, and somehow — standing between traffic and strangers — they gave us answers so deep and considered that I'm still not sure how it happened.

In Germany the chances of getting someone to talk like that on a street corner are close to zero. In Cape Town people opened up like it was the most normal thing in the world. The film is a series of aesthetically heightened street portraits held together by the one question nobody has a simple answer to.
